Not a bad view to wake up to

First ski session at 9am
Students are now in rooms and looking forward to our first ski session in the morning. Plenty of photos to be added tomorrow
Just pulling into resort
We have safely arrived in Sestriere. A very long journey with heavy traffic in the south of France.
Tonight we will be getting people into their rooms, have our evening meal and getting all ski and snowboarding kit allocated.
There should be some free time to unpack, shower and then off to bed as skiing begins at 9am.
Who doesn’t like The Goonies?

Update on the journey
We are around 250 miles away from Sestriere having just past Dijon. The coach is very subdued with several students (and staff) napping.
Always like to mention on the blog about funny things we hear and one staff member was asked “Miss is that a mountain as I have never seen a mountain”.
Dr Hume replied “No (insert student name!?!), they are the White Cliffs of Dover”.
Was it your child that asked that?
Two films into the journey
We are fast approaching Dover having watched Booksmart plus a personal favourite of Mr Deans in Hairspray
Dropping off students tonight
Excitement is building now as we countdown to the last few hours before departure. As you arrive at school with your child tonight could you avoid parking to the left of the bottom of the drive (near the entrance to the school field). This will be where the coach is likely to arrive and will need to reverse into this space. Thanks in advance
Fresh snow falling just in time
